Family Treasures

Planning idea - Family Treasures

Here is an example of a unit around Family Treasures which has been used in a few schools throughout Marlborough. It has been adapted to the needs of ESL students who may not know too much about their family background but helps them to seek more information, so please make a copy and adapt it to meet the needs of your students in your context if you would like to.
MASTER - ELLP record of progress

Digital version of ELLP

The English Language Learning Progressions (ELLP) are key documents for the assessment, planning and teaching of English language learners. They help teachers to choose content, vocabulary, and tasks that are appropriate to each learner's age, stage, and language-learning needs. This may include learners for whom English is a first language but who would benefit from additional language support.
ELLP - Student Agency Record

Student Agency Pathway
